Rotary Sponsoring RYLA Scholarships
We are pleased to announce that the Rotary Club of Ayer, Shirley, Harvard and Devens has awarded RYLA scholarships to eight local high school sophomores. These students will attend the 2025 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Conference at Fitchburg State University on June 27, 29, 29, 2025.
The RYLA Conference is an excellent opportunity for students to develop their leadership skills, broaden their horizons, meet new people and have fun!

Club RYLA Chairperson, Doreen Quintiliani and the Board of Directors have voted to sponsor eight local high school students who will attend the 2025 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) conference in June.
This year's RYLA awardees, representing Ayer Shirley Regional High School in Ayer, The Bromfield School in Harvard and Parker Charter School in Devens will be among the more than 150 Massachusetts high school sophomores who will attend this years conference.
Aimed at developing the leadership potential of high school students, the RYLA conference will feature many thought-provoking events including interactive Leadership Labs, exciting guest speakers, and challenging mental and physical activities that will provide the participants with a chance to excel amongst and with their peers. Topics will include decision-making, critical thinking, communicating effectively, ethics, and public service.
Rotary will partner with school staff members to identify candidates who qualify by showing leadership potential and good citizenship characteristics along with demonstrating a strong desire to attend and benefit from the conference.
Congratulations to our 2025 RYLA attendees!
