Limit of 30 Foursomes

Schedule

  • 8 a.m. - Registration

  • 9 a.m. - Shotgun Start

  • Continental breakfast and buffet lunch

  • Lunch, raffles, and awards presentation immediately follows tournament

 

Prizes

  • 50/50 Raffle

  • Gift Basket Raffle

  • Hole in One - A two-year lease on a Ford F-150 courtesy of Gervais Ford. Subject to official conteset rules and lease eligibility.

  • Prizes for first-, second,- tenth-, and last-place teams

Cost

$150 per individual golfer. Registration and payment for twosomes and foursomes can be made online. Event organizers will pair twosomes into foursomes. Tournament limited to 120 golfers in 30 foursomes.

Rotarian Gary Evans

 
 
 

Gary Evans founded Evans on the Common in Townsend. He served our country in the Marine Corp. He was a Rotarian for over 20 years.

Gary served as president of the Townsend Lunenburg Rotary and was a recipient of the Paul Harris Award. Gary was generous with his time and energy and known for his enthusiastic smile and infectious laugh. When he wasn’t helping others, he enjoyed travel, hiking and golfing with his group of buddies who call themselves “The Slugs.”

We are proud to name this tournament in honor of Gary.

Proceeds of this golf tournament benefit the many charitable causes supported by the Ayer Area Rotary Club, including:

  • The Ramps to Freedom Project - lending and installing handicapped ramps on the homes of housebound individuals.

  • Support of PACH, the Pepperell food pantry, www.pachoutreach.org.

  • Gary Evans Memorial Scholarship.
